Root) Organization: The Internet Lines: 21 I know I should know the answer to this question.......... This ain't exactly an X-related question, but since I got no place else to go....... Suppose I need an IP address for a machine that's not in my host table, how do I (easily) go about finding that information. I was once given the ftp site 128.218.1.109 5555 as a lookup machine, but it doesn't seem to work anymore..... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry to waste bandwidth with this... Thanks in advance.... -- _______________________________________________________________________________ | Ray Gates "Mama, mama, many worlds | CSC/NASA-Langley have come since I first | gates@cscsun1.larc.nasa.gov left home." | (128.155.42.32) | Phone: 804.865.1725 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER: The comments/opinions contained within are my own and do not necessarily represent the opinions of my employer(s). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
