I suppose this is a trade off in return for the extra sharpness of the character screen. My sighted room mate does not find it distracting. However, as I was saying in an earlier message, when you are using very high mag, viewing "that" through hyperoptics, and only about five inches away from the screen, it can be rather a problem. There does not seem to be an immediate solution if I want to use this monitor, so, I suppose I must live with it for the time being. Keepin' the faith! .
