Hi,

Well, what I have found out regarding the slow fading of screen
image, is that it is simply part of the high persistance of TTL
monitors in general. I suppose this is a trade off in return for
the extra sharpness of the character screen.

My sighted room mate does not find it distracting. However, as I
was saying in an earlier message, when you are using very high mag,
viewing "that" through hyperoptics, and only about five inches away
from the screen, it can be rather a problem.

There does not seem to be an immediate solution if I want to use
this monitor, so, I suppose I must live with it for the time
being.
