The only other meanings I > know for this word are regarding bail and chemical/marriage type. = "Bonded" generaly means that an insurance company has issued a bond, guarenteing that the attendant will not steal anything. The idea is that, since the insurance company would be responsible for any loss or damage caused by the person they bond, they would (should anyway) make a through background check on that person.
