The best reference I have found for inductance formulae and calculations is:
"Inductance Calculations, Working Formulas and Tables" by Frederick W. Grover.
It was first published in 1946 by the D. Van Nostrand company.  It is 
currently available from the Instrument Society of America or from Dover
Publications.  It is a rather boring book but it analyzes just about any
configuration you might think up.
