I'm beginning to build an automated knowledge acquisition tool (a long
term project, obviously!), and I'd like to see what the detractors have
to say about AKA.  Why can't it be done, what are the (currently)
insurmountable problems, what roadblocks can I encounter, etc.

I'm studying AKA and getting techniques, etc., but I know there's 
people out there who think it can't be done, at least not quite yet,
and I want to know more about what I'm getting into if they're right.
