To any architecture instructors: I just finished evaluating this book for our graduate level architecture class and it is a GENERATION ahead of all of the other books we evaluated. All of the other books considered get put in a pile marked 'nowhere near as good as this one.' To the rest of comp.arch - I suggest getting a copy of this and reading it for professional reasons. I was learning new things from reading this book which was not true of the other books we evaluated. I have no connection with MK publishing except as a happy user of their book. Sorry if this violates your idea of no commercialism (but the book is that good). Neil Kirby ...att!archie!nak
