What I would like to be able to do is to model this device's performance, including the workstations that are hung off it, to determine at what point the LAN becomes a bottleneck. This LAN is derived from the 802.5 standard, but runs at 80 Mbit/sec. Ideally, I would like to know the relationship between packet size and throughput, and between numbers of terminals and efficiency. Please reply to me directly by E-mail.
