I would like to find out about systems (or parts to be integrated) for a somewhat different problem. Specifcally, I am interested in a multichannel system for acquiring and analyzing signals with a bandwidth from 12 to 50 kilohertz. The number of channels will start at two but the system should be expandable. The signal durations are from a few seconds to a few minutes. The analysis software should include standard signal processing plus should be extensible by the user. Features of interest include the following: * Digital to analog playback at a later time * Waveform editing * Ease of transfer of final results into a UNIX environment * Option to add hardware later to provide "real-time" processing in some or all of the channels Thanks in advance, Cory Myers Atlantic Aerospace Electronics Corporation 470 Totten Pond Road Waltham, MA 02154 (617) 890-4200 cory%aaec1.uucp@dspvax.mit.edu
