You don't state your platform but on the PC side there is Hijaak (commercial) or vpic (shareware) will read a tiff file and save in another form. Mac side has a couple as well, Imagestudie, colorstudio, Image and photoshop come to mind. BUT... I will go on to say... It is infinitely easier to WRITE a proper TIFF file than it is to READ the 7 trillion possible variations of TIFF files!! tj
