Our lab is looking into buying a 3D digitizer, i.e., a device that lets
us input 3D coordinates using a stylus, analogous to a 2D graphics
tablet. We want to build 3D object models for visual recognition.

If you know of companies that manufacture such devices, I would
like to hear from you. If you have recommendations or
experience with a particular device, I would appreciate if you
could share that as well.
