This was copyrighted in 1986, and is based on Wirth's 3rd edition description of the language. I learned from it easily, and enjoy using it as a reference. One of the author's quirks is that he typeset it and did the illustrations himself. Looks nice enough, though. I like the train-track syntax diagrams he includes. The book as a whole makes the features and use of Modula-2 clear and fun. Lyle D.
