Now I come to think about it, our V7-running 11/34 had a weird expansion box with 1Mb of extra memory (don't ask- I don't know what and how they did...). However, the other '34 _was_ a vanilla 11/34 (I now have it), and it ran BSD 2.9 just fine.... Moral: Sorry for something which is not correct. There are versions of V7 that _did_ run on a 11/34. One example is DEC V7m, the other BSD 2.9.
