We are exploring the possibility of using PC-NFS in the room which houses all DOS-compatible systems and using our SUN as a file/print server. We would like the user to select applications via a menu program which would run on the server. Currently, users select applications off the (local) hard disk via a home-grown menu program. Does anyone know of such a menu program to select different applications off the server using PC-NFS which would require very little RAM? Anyone else care to relate their experiences with PC-NFS in a "publicly" used setting? Thanks in advance. -- Larry Simmons larrys@aecom.yu.edu Scientific Computing Center ...{uunet,att,philabs}!aecom!larrys Albert Einstein College of Medicine 1300 Morris Park Ave. Bronx, NY 10461
