I remember reading about or hearing of a paper that described the projects given to an undergraduate (or just postgraduate) course on software engineering in an american academic institution. If anyone has the reference for this paper, it would be much appreciated. Alternatively, you could email me with your suggestions for such a course. The course given at the Australian National University is 14 weeks long with 3 hours of lectures and a two hour group design meeting per week. Courses run in the past have involved developing a spreadsheet, expert system shell, and hypertext system. Any ideas for projects ?
