Lattice anyway). -- Package registrations can be transfered from one owner to another, but only if the product licensing agreement allows it. If it does not state in writing there is no obligation on the part of the software vendor to transfer the license. If you are consdering or have purchased piece of software that you would like the registration transfered contact the software publisher directly. It they may be nice enough to transfer the registration anyway. I have seen som vendors whose licensing agreement allows transfers. I have also seen many more that forbid transfers. But most do not seem to state one way or another. -Jim- PS. I am one of those strange people that do read my licensing agreements. ***************************************************************************** * Jim Zepeda UUCP: ...!cs.utexas.edu!ut-emx!martian!rjz * * C.T.A.C.S. -- Central Texas Amiga Computer Society * * Any opinions are my own.
