I have an Amiga 2000HD, a second internal floppy, and an 8-up dip memory board, populated with 4 meg. The mother board is a 4.* rev and everything for the last year has been fine. Latley, however I have been experiencing, a series of random gurus and or system lockups. Sometimes when I cntrl Amiga Amiga everything is fine, but mostly the screen just lights up a dark red. There does not seem to be a repeatable pattern, except that when I have reseated the mem board the problem usually clears up for a short time. Latley, the lockups have become more and more frequent and some times the system never fully reboots before locking up. I have a standard startup except for virusx4.0 and a few additional assigns for some programs. In the beginning of the problem I would run the memory check program and nothing was reported, last saturday I removed the memory board altogether and the occurrences seem to have disappered. Is it the memory board itself or perhaps a problem with the expantion bus........, I would apreciate any leads to a complete recovery as I miss my expanded memory. ps. I do not have the fatter agnus Mitch
