I just did a 'du' on my TeX directory (I loaded everything) and it
takes up 12 megs.  You could get buy with less than that if you cut
out some of the fonts and utils that you don't use.  I'm pretty sure
that I compressed (PowerPacker) most of the TeX binaries too.
