Can you describe lame? > There are a lot of well know problems with Pascal and there is no point in going into them again, and Wirth was right to start fresh. To make Pascal more useable various compiler makers all add their own fixes meaning that Pascal isn't much of a standard anymore. I think both these languages are pretty much languishing with good reason. It would be nice if there wasn't a necessity for the series "Hack AmigaBASIC to get Feature X" articles in "Amazing Computing".
