Sorry to repost. The following is the corrected message of my previous 
posting.

I have a question with regard to using the tape drive on a DN 580. I am
trying to save a horrendous amount of data(color image files) which reside
on the disk onto a tape. I was successful writing the data onto the tape
using the shell command 'wbak'. The problem is when I try to read the
saved files from the tape back onto the disk, after deletion of the files
from the disk. I have tried many ways of using 'rbak', but it still didn't
work.  The basic command I used is 'rbak -dev ct -f 1 -all'.

	I have checked that it has been saved correctly using '-ind'. The
error message I am getting is 'can't update attributes of //santa/accounts/
myname/save/filename - can't find the file (OS fault handler)'. I have checked
to make sure that '//santa/accounts/myname/save/filename' resides in '-f 1'.
I have also used the '-as' option to no avail. I spent two hours trying on
various combinations, and still I couldn't get it to work.
	Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
