I'm working on DS3100's using only BIND nameservice. If I put the
domainname in resolv.conf, is the hostname required to have the domain
name tacked on the end? I've been running without it and haven't seen
any problems, but I was wondering if I've simply been lucky and not hit
something. I realize that there is a program to set the domainname for
yellow pages service, but I'm not interested in this.
