After converting a GIF Image (640x480 256 colors) to the DeluxePaint lbm format I have discovered that when I choose a particluar cutting I can't make the part much bigger. Deluxe will only allow a small enlargement of my cutting. E.g. I can't double the cutting because DeluxePaint comes with an error messages that I have not enough memory. I have a 386SX with 4MB RAM using 386MaxMem. I have tried 3 MB expanded, 3 MB extended and 1,5 expanded/1,5 extended, but DeluxePaint keeps on telling me that he hasn't enough memory. Doesn't DeluxePaint generally take advantage of extra memory. If not, what other Paint Prgs could read/convert GIF format and uses my 4 MB RAM?
