Call the WordPerfect orderline and ask for the Developer's Toolkit. Make sure and ask for the 5.0 PC version. This document quite explicitly maps out all files that WP generates and uses. The cost is around $45. The books on file formats found in most bookstores don't have the latest on WP 5.0 (only 4.2) I don't have their number handy. Try 1-800 information.
