Subject: Windows 3.0 troubles with Northgate

I am unable to run Windows 3.0 in 386 enhanced mode on my Northgate
386 machine.  The symptoms are that the screen is a mess and the
cursor usually locks up.  Substituting the Northgate-supplied vga-16
board with a Paradise 8-bit board solves the problem.  Northgate can
not explain this (they suggest not using enhanced mode).  Any ideas?
