Hello,

This is a posting for a friend....

  I am looking for a good accounting package and a database package for MS-DOS
 environment.  I would very much welcome and appreciate any remarks or advices.
I heard of Platnum package and I do not know much about it.  Also I want to build a LAN in my company, and I need some information on the good in not the best
networking software and hardware; it was suggested to me to use IBM LAN software with ethernet adaptor cards.
