I have extensively used the first release, and found it to be TERRIBLE! I've read that the update is a major improvement, but that it still has many of the problems of the first version. However, I will hold my flames on v1.1 (or whatever the update is). But try it out first! Vision from Opcode does wonderful sequencing, and it probably will have a companion program for notation writing at some point in the future, with a good interface, as opposed to the clumsiness of FINALE. scott.
