If I have to cross my 2-page monitor, no big deal; since my mouse moves fast enough, I can do it without lifting the mouse once. Perhaps I have a finer touch than most people, but I don't think so; I don't mind having an extremely sensitive mouse. To me, this discussion seems pointless; Apple's guidelines work just fine. An INIT or CDEV can be used to increase the mouse speed for those few of us that desire it--I'm not sure Apple should allow an option "Blinding Mouse Speed" in the Control Panel--and I'm perfectly happy. scott
