I had some major problems tonight which were coincidentally solved by lowering my once massive system file to under 2500K. My problems began when I removed a DA and left my file smaller (in hindsight) at around 2600K. The machine would not boot off the hard drive and gave me the SAD mac icon with the code and all with the weird chord playing. Any insight, especially the Apple people would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. ---Derek Fong fong@cive.stanford.edu thewho@portia.stanford.edu
