I recently acquired a HyperDrive FX/20 (yeah, an oldie :-) ) and was wondering if anybody knew about the ST225N. I have a couple of questions: 1.) About the three SIP sockets on the PC-side of the drive. Are these the SCSI terminators, and if so, can they be used to terminate the drive, rather than the external (bulky) terminators, as usually needed? I don't plan to use the unit anywhere where I'll need to remove the termination. Also, if these are the SCSI terminations, what value component and is there a proper orientation for it? 2.) What makes a HD unit you purchase from a third party different from another third party when the drive unit inside the box is the same? 3.) Suppose I purchase an ST157N-1 for use with my Mac. What do I need to do to ensure that this unit works with my Mac? What about formatting?
