A company called Transition Technology makes a tape storage unit that can store 2.3 GBytes on an 8mm video cassette. Unfortunately their DEC and Mac versions use different formatting for some reason. Because we want to build these files on a VAX 8800 environment and read them in a Mac environment, I'm looking for Mac peripherals which can interface with standard DEC-compatible mass storage devices (eg MU, Tape Mass Storage Control Protocol) Deluxe appreciation to anyone who can help! Thanks, Dave -- *********************** Dave Chesavage **************************** * dchesavage@ucsd.edu * * "Earth is 99% full. Please delete anyone you can." *
