In addition to keeping backups, SUM and the new Norton Utilities provide a chance of recovering fromhard disk crashes. Does anyone know if these packages can handle the presence of D.M.? Has anyone been through a recovery attempt? I would hope that these packages would a) Understand D.M. and have no trouble working with the file system or b) Ignore the D.M. files and just rebuild the original Desktop file. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks, John -- Dislaimer: Me, responsible?
