I have one of these undeletable folders: ]the 'file is busy or the folder is not empty' is the response every time ]I try to trash it. DiskTop claims the folder contains -3 files, while the ]Finder, which presumably can't count less that 0, states that there are ]zero items inside. I tried putting 3 junk files inside the folder, in a ]vain attempt to fool the system gods, but was still unable to delete the ]folder. I would reformat the disk, but it is my 80 Mbyte internal. Here is one solution that I came up with. I used the shareware stuffit to archive the folder as a folder and had the 'delete when done' option checked . When the process was completed the folder from hell was gone and the inert archived folder could be trashed with no problems. Hope this helps. Wes Delepierre delepiw@nyssa.cs.orst.edu
