Lines: 18 This discusion on apple menu is rather interesting to me. First of all I am in favor of the idea. Curently I use the heir-da shareware product and DiskTop to produce something to the same effect but on a most restricted level. However, as an admistrator of a lab I understand that it is not a great idea to have so many options availible to users because they often know very little about the mac. So what do you do? I think the best way would be to have the ability to turn the option on or off using say ResEdit. This way novice users, and indeed users on the whole, would have a simple flat apple menu. On the other hand, power users that wish to rearange the system to thier liking have the ability to do so. -- Ray Johnson Internet: rjohnson@gwusun.gwu.edu Phone: (202)994-6853 The George Washington University
