I have a NCR Tower 1632 with the 68000 motherboard. I also have
an opportunity to purchase an XP (68010) motherboard and wish to know
if the XP motherboard will just slide-in and function without
other modifications to the system. I tried an XP motherboard
in this box once before and it seemed not to work correctly.

If other components must be changed, or some mods must be made,
what are they?

Also I need to purchase a used cartridge tape drive for the same
system. The current drive is made by Cipher (model 540ct) but I
would prefer an Archive drive (like a model 5945L-2).

All help is appreciated...
