Summary: Is this available yet? Message-ID: <1990Jun15.072851.12363@actrix.co.nz> Date: 15 Jun 90 07:28:51 GMT Organization: Actrix Public Access UNIX, Wellington, New Zealand Lines: 19 Hi, I installed a LAN Manager system on a customer's LAN today. This was on an Ethernet 802.3 ThinLAN using 3COM cards with HP Vectras, talking to an HP9000/825 running as the server with LM/X. The customer also has an NCR Tower (no, I don't know the model), and wants to hook it in too. The local NCR dweebs don't even know the difference between NFS and TCP/IP, so I thought I'd ask the Net. Is there an Ethernet LAN card for the NCR Tower? If so, which models are supported? Is there a supported port of ARPA services for the Tower? Has anyone got an availability date for LAN Manager/X for the Tower? Please e-mail, as I don't read comp.sys.ncr much at all. -- Paul Gillingwater, paul@actrix.co.nz
