We currently have a mix of C and COBOL programs and will soon be developing SQL scripts, ORACLE FORMS etc etc for a database environment. Change control i.e. something like SCCS works quite well for a single C source file. It begins to fall down a bit when we start trying to tie in a number of include files. COBOL is even more of a challenge with a mass of copy libraries etc. Now to make things interesting we add all the database stuff. I can't see a simple way for SCCS to cope ? Has anyone already travelled this path ? What approaches has everyone else taken. What products are people using on Towers for this ? I did get some information on a product called Aid-de-camp (I forget the spelling) but it was over AUS $30000. Anything in a more reasonable price bracket ? -- <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Nigel Harwood >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> << Post: Coles Myer Ltd, PO Box 2000 Tooronga 3146, Australia >> << Phone: +61 3 829 6090 E-mail: nigel%cmsfl@labtam.oz.au >> <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
