I found a dry joint on U22. The +5 I think it was. Don't ask me how that caused the problem! The power supply and ground pins need quite a lot more heat than the signal pins due to the large amount of copper attached to them. I noticed this when I was soldering but I guess I didn't quite give this one enough. I hope that was all that is wrong (keeps fingers crossed)! Thanks for the help, Ian Dall
