I second the motion for a real PGA extractor when one is available... ...but apparently unlike many others on the list, I *have* been able to remove 175+ pin PGA's with metal screwdrivers without breaking anything. The key is to have about 6 screwdrivers and as many hands... even pressure all around... I end up doing 68pin PGA's routinely, so maybe it's just a matter of practice (being used to the frustration? :-) "These are trained professionals. Do not attempt this at home." :-) Bdale
