Where are they?  What are the prices like?

I saw a posting today which implied the existence of a Toshiba SPARC
laptop clone.  What is it like?  Given the obese standard distribution OS,
you'd have to have a huge disk on the laptop, and that would drive up the
cost; is there a smart solution around it?
