This is because the partition on which the swap partition is mounted does
not have root priveledges accross the net.  I too ran into this problem
three days ago.  Fortunately I called my local Sun FE and he knew the
problem right off.  Error 13 is permission denied (I think).  Solution is
to add the following to your /etc/exports on the 4/490

/home -root=straub:schlitz

where /home is the partition of the new swap partition and straub:schlitz
in my situation are 2 diskless clients that have their swap out of place.
