We recently upgraded our Sybase data server to SUN OS 4.0.3 with Sybase
4.0 and the server keeps crashing with the following error messages:

assertion failed: pmg->pmg_keepcnt == 1, file: ../../sun/vm_hat.c, line: 1574
panic: assertion failed
syncing file systems... [15] 4 [15] 1 [13] [5] done

dumping to vp f119e10, offset 63136

Configuration:

  Sybase 4.0  on SUN OS 4.0.3  (SUN 3/280)
  32MB of memory 
  3 Hitachi drives 
  Exabyte cartridge running rev. 1.7 11/10/89 SS-200T 4.23 
  from Delta Micro systems
  Print server running Transcript 2.1.1 software

Has anybody ran into this problem?  Any suggestions/hints would be
appreciated.
