First in Sunview shelltool, and now in X11R4 xterm, I've noticed that
typeahead is unreliable.  Not like the good old days on serial terminals.
Especially if I go away from a window for a while and come back and type a
commmand, I usually find that the command is thrown away.

Why is typeahead broken?  Will it ever be fixed again?
