We are using a rather geriatric CVStation (really a Sun3/160). This machine uses a SCSI interface that includes two "zs" devices, I'd guess that that means 4 serial ports. I've had a go at using them but while making the kernel a the extra zs line generate a warning about interrupts. Also I have no idea what the pinout of the serial connector is.
