I am looking for a cheap tranceiver to connect a PC with a thinnet
connector to a Sun with a thicknet connector. The cheapest I have seen is
$189.

I assume that even if both machines had thicknet connectors, I would still
have to buy a tranceiver to connect them (in fact, two tranceivers).
Unfortunately, the Sun SparcStations don't come with thinnet connectors
anymore.
