However, dissertations require larger machines, and so I'm getting a Compaq Deskpro 386. My question is, what must I do in order to use my old printer with my new machine? With the 100, I didn't have to think about printer boards or graphics adapters, so I have no idea of what I'm doing. Any help is greatly appreciated. (For those of you wondering, this printer will only be used for draft-quality work; I have access to laserprinting at the university. This printer is meant to tide me over until I have a real job, by which time I will both be able to afford a real printer, and get more printer for my money.)
