I've encountered the following problem:

When in LATEX I use a sans serif style font the linespacing is 
influenced by the characters in the lines.
When there are no p,q,g, or y's in a line the space to the
next line is reduced by a few mm. 

Since I don't consider this very pretty I'd like to do 
something about it. If possible different from adding 
extra space everywhere.

I would appreciate any suggestions.
