As you know, the ".netrc" file residing in a user's home
directory permits automatic executions of "ftp." I have
consulted the manuals (SunOS 3.4 4.3bsd) but thusfar have
been unable to get this to work.

Perhaps there is some undocumented *feature* of which I
am unaware, or maybe I am just plain ignorant.

Any suggestions/assistance would be most appreciated.
