I am running Xenix 2.2.1 on a 286 Machine. With elm 2.3 I have a very strange
problem which never occured to me.
I am able to compile all elm parts with no problem. ld links the parts together
without any error message, BUT the executable is NOT executable:

$ elm
elm: syntax error at line 1 : `(' unexpected

Any hints on that one?
