The page preview shows the top two lines, but they don't print on my Star NX1000 configured as an LX800. Also, when I start Word for Windows and start typing, it comes up with what I believe is the WYSIWIG font edit interface, (and not the draft mode). In this mode, typing is really screwy! You type, and things start wrapping to the next line like a mile away from the right margin, etc. Of course, when you preview and print it, the break *is* supposed to be where it shows up on screen, but the effect is very disturbing. I keep thinking that I hit return at the end of the line because it terminates so much before the right margin, and I keep going back and trying to delete the imaginary paragraph break. Perhaps Win 3.0 will cure the problem, perhaps reading the manual will. I am using Windows/386 v2.11 on a 20MHz 386 with 800x600x16 mode SVGA from Paradise. Milan .
