Maybe someone has figured this out: I am trying to install a comm board that can use IRQs of 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 15. I set COM3Irq in SYSTEM.INI to proper IRQ and COM3Base to proper address. I try to use the Terminal accessory to talk to a terminal connected to the comm board. Windows does not process interrupts generated by the comm board on any of the IRQs above 9. The board works fine in interrupt-driven DOS and UNIX applications running on the same machine (using all IRQs). Board also works fine under Windows when configured at IRQ 3. I called Microsoft Support. After the obligatory 35 minute wait I explained the setup and was told that "IRQs above 8 may or may not work, see your documentation". Is there an explanation for this ? Any help appreciated. Thanx, John -- John Radigan, Star Gate Technologies, Solon, Ohio (216) 349-1860 x666 [...cwjcc!ncoast ...uunet!abvax ...ism780c ...sco ...mstar]!sgtech!jjr
