I am trying to install X11R4 on our VAXstation 3100.  I have run into
a problem with the qdss server in that it panic's the machine on startup.

According to dbx the fault (bus error) seems to arise at line 342 in
storeChannel.  (mit/server/ddx/dec/qdss/qdcolor.c).

Our configuration is as follows:
	VAXstation 3100 -Model 40
	16 MB memory
	Ultrix-32 V3.0 (Rev 64) UWS 2.0
	X11R4 (standard mit distribution, at current patch level)
	19" color-monitor (8-plane colour)
